This service is provided by the Embassy for those who need to legalize Canadian documents to be used in Indonesia. Documents issued by the Indonesian company can not be legalize by the Embassy of Indonesia unless submitted by a Canadian Company.

Procedure

To legalize a document, submit all the requirements to the Embassy, either in person, Canada Post or Courier company.

The Embassy of the Republic Indonesia (Consular Services) will legalize document(s) only after a Notary Public and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) has authenticated the document(s).

Requirements

1. A covering letter from the Canadian Company, informing the Embassy the  Name with contact number,address of the Indonesian company that is requesting the document(s).
2. The original document(s) to be legalized.  Document(s) must be prior legalized by a Notary Public and DFAIT.
3. Legalization fee  per document of $25.00   in the form of money order. Please read the form of payment information.
4. A return envelope:  (the Consular Affairs is not responsible to send your documents to Indonesia)

• a. by hand : envelop with contact person and contact number.
• b. Canada Post : the Canada Post document submission guideline.
• c. Courier Company with a completed waybill and account number.

The processing time generally take 24 hours (Monday-Thursday).
