11. Pakistan

13. Sri Lanka

If  the name of your country is mentioned in the above list, you will require an authorization visa from the Immigration Head Office in Jakarta prior to travel.

The applicant must have a permanent residential card issued by the Citizenship of Immigration Canada (CIC) to apply for a visa from Canada. Otherwise the applicant must apply for the calling visa from its country of origin.

To obtain a visa you will need to follow these steps:

For Business or Social visit:

1. You will need a sponsor in Indonesia.
2. Submit all supporting document to your sponsor. (copy of your passport – any previous visa if any – 2 photographs and a letter from your sponsor).
3. Your sponsor will need to present it self in person at the Indonesian Immigration Head Office in Jakarta with the documents.

When the Immigration Office approved’s the visa they will notify your sponsor and the Consular Services at the Embassy in Ottawa by Fax or email.

Your sponsor will notify you with a copy of the calling visa,  you can call or email the Consular Services in Ottawa to verify if we have receive the approval.

The Consular Services  in Ottawa will inform  you with what type of documents to submit to request the visa in your passport.

For Tourist Visit:

1. Submit all visa requirements to the Consular Services in Ottawa
2. The Consular Services will fax the documents to the Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi in Jakarta.
3. The Consular Services will notify you when the  visa is received at the Embassy in Ottawa.

You will need to allow at least 4 to 6 weeks for the authorization visa to be processed and received at the Embassy.
