Free Visit Entry Stamp

The Government of Indonesia is pleased to announce as of April 1 , 2016 that the following  citizens  traveling with a Regular, Diplomatic and Service Passport are exempt  from obtaining a visa  for Indonesia for the following purpose :

  1. Tourism
  2. Family
  3. Social
  4. Art and Cultural
  5. Government visit
  6. Giving Lecture or attend seminar
  7. Attend a meeting held by head office or Representative office in Indonesia
  8. Attending International Exhibition


Rules and Regulations

Free Visit Visa is given to travelers visiting Indonesia for the purpose mentioned above for a maximum stay of 30 days which cannot be extended or converted to any other type of Stay Permit.  Free Visit Visa entry stamp can only be obtained at certain points of arrival in Indonesia.

If you are planning on staying longer than 30 days, you will need to apply for a Visit Visa prior to arrival in Indonesia Visit Visa

Indonesia does not accept Alien Passports, Travel Documents or Temporary passports as a proof of your countries citizenship/nationality.

Visa Requirements

  1. Passport Valid for more than 6 months from date of exit from Indonesia. (damaged passport will not be accepted).  Indonesian Immigration does not accept Alien Passports, Travel Documents or Temporary Passports as a proof of your countries citizenship/nationally.
  2. Exit airline ticket (within 30 days)
