Visa Exemption

Countries that are exempted from applying for a Visa to enter Indonesia

Citizens from the following countries are allowed to stay in Indonesia as tourist up to 30 days without visa.

Visitors should be in possession of valid passport of 6 months validity and a return or an onwards journey ticket at the time of arrival.

This visa is not for employment and is not extendable.

Those countries are:

  1. Brunei Darussalam
  2. Chile (SAR)
  3. Ecuador
  4. Macao (SAR)
  5. Malaysia
  6. Morocco
  7. Peru
  8. Philippines
  9. Singapore
  10. Thailand
  11. Vietnam
  12. Hongkong (SAR)

Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passport from the following countries are exempted

The Government of Indonesia has made agreements with the following  countries to be exempted from applying for a visa to enter Indonesia for Diplomatic and Service passport holders that wish to visit Indonesia for a maximum of 14 days only.

Visitors should be in possession of valid passport of 6 months validity and a return or an onward journey ticket at the time of arrival.

Those countries are:

  3. Azerbaijan
  4. Bangladesh
  5. Belarus
  6. Bosnia
  7. Brazil
  8. Bulgaria
  9. Cambodia
  10. Croatia
  11. Cuba
  12. Ecuador
  13. Hungary
  14. India
  15. Iran
  16. Kazakhstan
  17. Kyrgyzstan
  18. Laos
  19. Macedonia
  20. Mongolia
  21. Myanmar
  22. North Korea
  23. Pakistan
  24. Paraguay
  25. People Republic of China
  26. Peru
  27. Portugal
  28. Russia
  29. Serbia
  30. Slovakia
  31. Slovenia
  32. Sri Lanka
  33. South Korea
  34. Suriname
  35. Switzerland
  36. Turkey
  37. Tunisia
