Visa Exemption

Countries that are exempted from applying for a Visa to enter Indonesia

Citizens from the following countries are allowed to stay in Indonesia of up to 30 days without visa.

Visitors should be in possession of valid passport of 6 months validity and a return or an onwards journey ticket at the time of arrival.

This visa is not for employment and is not extendable.

Those countries are:

  1. Brunei Darussalam
  2. Chile (SAR)
  3. Ecuador
  4. Macao (SAR)
  5. Malaysia
  6. Morocco
  7. Peru
  8. Philippines
  9. Singapore
  10. Thailand
  11. Vietnam
  12. Hongkong (SAR)

Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passport from the following countries are exempted

The Government of Indonesia has made agreements with 15 countries to be exempted from applying for a visa to enter Indonesia for Diplomatic and Service passport holders that wish to visit Indonesia for a maximum of 14 days only.

Visitors should be in possession of valid passport of 6 months validity and a return or an onwards journey ticket at the time of arrival.

Those countries are:

  1. Cambodia
  2. China
  3. Croatia
  4. Cuba
  5. Ecuador
  6. India
  7. Iran
  8. Laos
  9. Mongolia
  10. Montenegro
  11. Myanmar
  12. North Korea
  13. Peru
  14. Serbia
  15. South Korea
  16. Turkey
  17. Vietnam
